Course Description: This course is a full fledged
introduction, replacing our 'Introduction to WinRiver II' course offered previously. This
course is an overview of the format and function of TRDI's River survey and discharge
software. Concepts covered will be navigation of the software as well as
setting up for a deployment.

Course Description: This course is a brief introduction
to the Doppler Volume Sampler. It will introduce some of the physical features
of the instrument, data collection benefits, and deployment concepts. External
features and options will be presented as well as an explanation of the available
data collection methods. This course will also focus on describing the
new terminology of ‘samples’ as they are used in the DVS data collection
process.

components, with emphasis on field and lab troubleshooting. Also to be
discussed will be proper maintenance for the systems as well as basic troubleshooting
procedures.
