 Thanks to our valued customers, Teledyne RDI reached a major milestone
in January 2008. In addition to the thousands of non-Workhorse ADCPs
we’ve delivered over the past 25 years, we just completed production of
our 10,000th Workhorse ADCP!
As you may recall, the first Workhorse ADCP was delivered in 1995. Since
then, we've created a full line of Workhorse ADCP/DVL products. As we
mark this important milestone, we’d like to thank you for making the
Workhorse ADCP the most trusted and utilized ADCP in the world.
Although we’re very pleased to have delivered 10,000 of these
instruments, we think it’s even more intriguing to consider how each of
these instruments is being used. Each has been deployed in rivers,
streams, or oceans around the globe, providing you with valuable data
that truly has, and will continue to, change the way we see our world.
Each unit has a story - and you are that story. To commemorate this
milestone, we’d like to see your ADCP/DVL field photos, data, and
stories, and share them with our community of users. How are you using
